Lacuna Coil graces the cover of the February 2012 issue of UK Rock and Metal magazine Powerplay, as well as an interview with the band. Held on the day in 2011 when Lacuna Coil’s tour bus was hit by a lorry in Colchester, UK (don’t worry, no one was hurt!) Andrea and Cristina talk about the differences between Dark Adrenaline and its predecessor Shallow Life, how the heavier and darker sound came out in the song writing process, the continued collaboration with producer Don Gillmore, and more.

The magazine also includes reviews of Dark Adrenaline and Lacuna Coils performance in Colchester on 20th November 2011.

Lacuna Coil performed an acoustic show at Vintage Vinyl in New Jersey, USA, where the band performed a short set of both new and old songs, including the first time we’ve heard the acoustic version of ‘End Of Time’; taken from the recently released album ‘Dark Adrenaline’. Lacuna Coils Cristina Scabbia is on the cover of the February 2012 issue UK metal magazine Terrorizer, which also includes a 5 page article about her.

In an informal interview, Cristina talks about many aspects of being in Lacuna Coil, her thoughts on motherhood, releasing Dark Adrenaline and the feeling behind My Spirit (the final song on the album, and dedicated to the late Pete Steele),and much more.

The album, which has been receiving rave reviews – well pretty much everywhere, is available in a number of physical and digital formats, and includes the recent single ‘Trip The Darkness’, and a new cover of REMs classic ‘Losing My Religion’.

Lacuna Coil In-store Performance at Vintage Vinyl, New Jersery

Lacuna Coil will be performing an acoustic session in Vintage Vinyl, Fords, New Jersey, USA on Tuesday 24th January at 7pm local time. Anyone that purchases the bands new album ‘Dark Adrenaline’ from any Metal Club store will receive an exclusive code to watch the performance on Stageit.com and if you live near the Vintage Vinyl store you can pick attend the show in person!

‘The Sane Madness’, the sixth (and final?) video teaser for Lacuna Coils forthcoming album ‘Dark Adrenaline’ has been released today. In the video we see drummer CriZ appear to have some kind of schizophrenic episode; switching relaxing in an office to violently preparing for revenge..
