How about a dream band made up of the now departed.

Freddie Mercury - Vocals (Queen)
Gary Moore - Guitar (Skid Row/Thin Lizzy)
Randy Rhodes - Guitar (Ozzy Osbourne)
Cliff Burton - Bass (Metallica)
James "The Rev" Sullivan - Drums (Avenged Sevenfold)

Can't think of any Keyboard Players. But if i was to add Female Vocals to the band then i would go for Sabine Dunser (Elis).

Wow! Great band! But instead of the Avenged Sevenfold guy, I would have thought of Eric Carr (KISS), who died on the same day as Freddie Mercury and who was a terrific drummer...

Depressingly apart from the drummer,I managed to see all these great musicians.Drummer must be Cozy Powell (who I saw)or John Bonham who I didnt.

I'm not knocking Jimmy Sullivan or Eric Carr, but considering John Bonham of Led Zeppelin & Keith Moon from The Who are still dead, I have a feeling those guys would be 1-2 on most lists, either way.

Yes they were fantastic. And then you look at other dead legends, like Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie James Dio, Bon Scott(AC/DC), John Entwhistle(The Who) Steve Clark(Def Leppard), Joey Ramone(Ramones), Ronnie Van Zant & Allen Collins(Lynard Skynard),Paul Grey(Slipknot), & Michael Hutchence(INXS) to name a few. This is the sort of subject that all sorts of views & angles come into play, & other key factors are not taken into consideration.

You now have a keyboard player since Deep Purple's Jon Lord passed away. Great player, & God Bless.
