Is there a site I can reference for the news?? @Metalfairy I think that the re-release of Comalies, and the fact that Swamped can be seen on the Headbangers Ball shown in the UK AND on Scuzz is having a good effect. It's little things, but over the last couple of weeks, when I've mention Lacuna Coil, I've not just had blank stares. A few people have bought Comalies or seen Swamped and the reactions have been very positive. I have of course given them the ES address...
you know, Matt. My reference is not a website

Fantastic!
It's sad that they're quite ignored in their homecountry (except for the metalheads audience)

You've got to be kidding me. Comalies has been out for 2 years and only 250,000+ copies were sold? WTF? Metallica's abomination Re-Load sold 10,000,000+ copies the week it was released! WTF? There's something wrong with this picture.
Well on the plus side, it is impressive.

You're forgetting something....
Metallica = huge, Lacuna Coil = still underground.
Comalies is the best selling album in the history of Century Media records. It's up to 172 (I think) on the Billboard top 200, the ONLY Century Media album to EVER make that list. Sales of the Comalies are VERY impressive for who they are and how well known they are.
At Ozzfest shows, Lacuna Coil sales are third to Slipknot and Atreyu. Think about that. Slipknot is pretty big while Atreyu had LOTS of hype for their new album.
Also keep in mind that if Lacuna Coil had Metallica's marketing machine behind them, they would be the biggest band in the world.
