I don't know if it would cost money or you'd have to get a license to do it .. BUT... if it doesn't cost money and any problems... could we have sticky or post.. or something where we could list cd's and DVD's we have that we'd like to trade or sell?

If selling presents legal problems then how about "Trading" ..

Basically I could say.. "I have Sonata Artica's Newest CD/DVD. I'd like to trade it for something similiar or sell it. If interested PM me."

I know tons of us have cds and stuff laying around that are utter crap... or that we don't listen to ... etc... Ebay is getting so high priced on shipping (people making money off that) thats its hard to use trade sites..

All of us here have pretty good taste and I'd trust most everyone here.

PLUS it'd give those across the pond from eachother to get music that may not be available in their area.

I guess you could make a few rules like: No discussions in this thread, use PMs to get info or discuss merchandise. ES is not responsible for any trades/lost/stolen merch.... I dunno something like that.

Just an idea... cool if not... but I'd love to trade some stuff!

sounds good to me. ALthough we have to be very careful that we don't start getting into trouble with tax laws and copywrite issues. there would also have to be a 'no illegal copies/bootlegs' rule as well.

On the uni forum I am on people trade books between themselves all the time - seems to be OK as long as it is done through PM as a private transaction. there have been a few magazine trades in the past haven't there?

I still like the idea. and I agree transaction through PM nad e-mail.. wouldn't want to clutter the board with Pics and stuff....
