Karmacode Reviewed in Guitarist Magazine

Lacuna Coil’s album ‘Karmacode’ has been reviewed in the UKs Guitarist Magazine.
The magazine had this to say about the album:
Italy’s finest musical export since Zucchero
A lengthy four years after their well-recieved Comalies album, these Italian melodic goth metallers have delivered an album that should see them make a major breakthrough. The stunning vocals of Cristina Scabbia combine more powerfully with co-vocalist Andrea Ferro than ever before, and Fragile is a superb opening statement of intent. Indeed, Karmacode is full of similarly catchy songs with top draw production, but it’s the guitars that have changed the most. The modern metal riffs and rythm work of Cristiano Migliore and Marco Biazzi now provide a much heavier groove, especially with the help of Marco Coti Zelati’s driving bass lines positioned high in the mix. Lacuna Coil were doign this kind of thing when Evanescence were still in school, and with a perfectly suited cover of Depeche Mode’s classic Enjoy the Silence closing proceedings, it’s clear that this album deserves to be a hit.

Standout Tracks: To The Edge, Devoted, Fragile.

The magazine gave the album 4/5.
