Well, I am a bit bored and came across this topic...and since I am into art and do write some poetry, I decided to post some of my stuff. I have a lot since I am into photography, painting, drawing, graphics, and writing poetry, so I will just post what I think are my better efforts. Feel free to share your opinions, even if they are negative. Criticism is what helps an artist improve. :)

here are some paintings from when I was 15-17 (all done with acrylic paint)
Image
The lines are not all on the same slant, but this was only my 4th painting. Overall, I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

my second serious attempt at painting (sorry for the glare, I tired taking a decent pic)

Image
my tiny version of View of Toledo by El Greco - I had to simplify a lot because of the size of the canvas and amount of time I had to work on it (it was a project for Spanish class)

and here are a few photos I have taken over the years:

and here are just a few things I made in Photoshop:

Sorry for the long post, I'm not trying to show off. I have been considering going into something art related for a career and wanted to get some feedback. I have TONS more that I didn't post and I might post a poem or two later, but I think this is enough for one post.

Yes, I took 2 art classes in high school and the first one was done in a painting class taught by a local artist. I have some more that I didn't post from when I was majoring in art in college. I have been into art my whole life though, I love it.

Thanks for the nice comments. :D

Wow, you definitely have talent! The sun between the trees, airplane picture, and second acrylic painting are my favorites. Post more when you can :)

Thanks for the comments! :) I haven't posted anything in a while... I just made something earlier today in Photoshop so I will go on and post it.

I'm glad you like it. :D The font I used is called Jellyka Castle's Queen. I made a few more changes to it and I think this looks better:

Great job  I think it works especially well because the fire creates the outline of a face and the eyes are placed perfectly.

Thanks LC9023! :)

I can't seem to quit playing around with this one for some reason... I guess since it is better than most things I have made, I am trying to make it as good as it can be. I made a few more changes (made some of the text bigger, added a photo filter, and moved the eyes up a bit) and I think it looks even better.

I like your paintings, especially the second one. Now, if you like taking pictures of nature, make sure the quality would be at least decent. Small cameras with no good lenses are not created for art photography of nature...
