I got a response:

There was recently an error and some new accounts got deleted by mistake. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Riiiiight.

I've asked when it will be returned. Awaits.

For the record; According to sources, MySpace stores all their users' passwords in cleartext without any encryption added whatsoever.

That was very stupid of Myspace, indeed. "New", yeah right.

Update from Support:

We do not keep records of removed profiles or images. If it was removed by Myspace, it was because of a violation of our terms and conditions - which can include a number of issue (inappropriate images, spam, cyber bullying, underage use, etc). Please review our terms for further assistance:
http://collect.myspace.com/misc/terms.h ... 99fb4bc97b

Please note that once an account has been deleted, there is no way to re-activate the account or retrieve any of the information.

I've asked for more information (again!) as to why they deleted it.

Why would ES violate the Terms of Use? Unless they deleted it because the profile wasn't for an actual person but a web site?

In any case, it's stupid for them not to inform you.

Matt, am I understanding this correctly; Are MySpace accusing you of having sexually inclined images of minors (read between the lines here) on that MySpace account? That is a serious accusation they are making there - and they should honestly look over their standard replies they are sending out. (Especially as this one was offensive.)
