It's been a good 10 years!

Had a lot of fun in London when I visited and stayed with you back in 2006. And then you came to New York for my guided tour!

Now I am picking up the guys (and gal) at the airport here in Miami tonight as we head out for a night in South Beach (my new home) before we spend 5 days on the ocean with the 70000 tons of metal cruise. Lots of video and pictures to come! Will be an amazing trip!

Hey matey! Good to hear from you and it sounds like you're going to have a great time!

Say hi from me. ;)

Congrats to ES!!

Just came across this thread and have to agree with the sentiments expressed. Sadly this is no longer a first point of call when I go on the net, so I'm just as guilty as anyone at letting things slide but I'm listening more to LC than I have for a couple of years (kept going to gigs though) so the interest is back.

If any of you haven't tried the podcast - do. It's good stuff.

Anyway Matt, thanks for all the work and here's to the next ten.

Thanks!

I understand that interest ebbs and flows, it's just one of those things - good to see you back though! We're not going anywhere. :)

Glad you like the podcast! It will be interesting to see where it goes.

no Matt thank you, back when I started I had no idea what other bands to listen to or what each members name was, just that I really liked the music, so when I came here, it gave me the chance to get to know a bunch of great people and get some great band recos from anthony, teague and a few others like yourself and that only came from emptyspiral, so thank you!

:edit:
shite, just noticed 8 and a bit years registered O_O

Well said :urock: . I've been here since December 2006. I'm not that active the last few years, but I'm planning to change this.

Congratz.

Jesus H it's been a long time since I last logged in. But congrats on 10 years! I've only been here 9 years but still, awesome times!

Not many message boards can say that they've lasted for at least 10 years. So that's an accomplishment of it's own. And as posted previously in another thread, I can't believe that I've been listening to the band for at least 10 years now. Besides my distaste for Karmacode and Shallow Life, I've enjoyed listening to the band, and hope to keep on listening to them as time goes on.

And holy fuck, we're getting old.

We're getting old and it's natural! Everybody's in the same situation!

I know that, I just find it crazy how much time has passed.

OK! Sorry!

It's just that youthism irritates me, as much as communitarianism, fashion, talentless celebrities, Lady Gaga, junk food, and lots of other things relayed by the diktat of the media!

10 years? Congrats Matt. It can't be easy having to do this and juggle the day job as well.

There was a time when I could spend hours on end reading the forums, but I think those days are now behind me.

Keep an eye out for it. ;)
