great interviews matt

< this guy wants more, was great listening to Cri and Andi discuss some comalies and the odd mention from other songs.

only thing, is the microphone, could here them talk, then your next question was almost unhearable at times.

Well the good news is there's 3 more Comalies interviews coming.

As for the Mic - yeah, it was a pain - so loud backstage.

Loved the Pizza one I listened to properly today - It's interesting to hear from all of them that once the album is recorded they don't listen to it...totally undertandable as like he says with them playing certain songs so much :)

Maus interview interested me very much - Nice to hear him talking at such great length and a wonderful interview..

Looking forward to hearing the next instalment

Brilliant!! Really enjoying this!!
As long as they are not just churned out for the sake of it, this is a great way for the band to talk directly to the fans.

Perhaps future interviews might include the thinking behind why some older songs are included in set lists and not others, and why some old favourites disappear.

There will be many more. I don't have limitless interviews though, so we're going to mix up the format as well and are going to make it a truly community podcast.

There will be reviews, interviews, news, competitions, etc. But I want everyone to get involved (if you want to!), so if you like the idea of coming on the Podcast and talking about Lacuna Coil let me know!

It's easy and free (I use Skype) and I'm hopeful that we'll get a chance to chat with people from all over!

It's a pity the sound quality on the Pizza episode wasn't fantastic as it sounded really interesting (not a criticism Matt, they were probably very difficult conditions).
Guess I'll just have to re listen with no background distractions near me.

Yeah it was really tricky doing the interviews in that dressing room (in fact, most dressing rooms, but there really is no where else normally). In the background you'll hear the coming and going of the rest of the band and crew, etc. etc.

The setlist for the Astoria Dec 2003 show mentioned in the podcast is here
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lacuna-co ... 63580.html
It was probably Cold Heritage you were thinking of Matt, instead of Purify ...

and a review of the show which may be interesting to look back upon

I love the podcast. Though I'm only listening, it feels like discussing Lacuna Coil with your friends :)
