Lacuna Coil’s album ‘Comalies’ is number three in Metal Hammer UK Magazine’s Goth category in their Top 200 greatest albums of the last 20 years.
The list, published in the July 2006 issue of the magazine placed the album third, behind Type 0 Negative’s ‘Bloody Kisses, and HIM’s ‘Razorblade Romance, and had this to say about it:
“Fat with production, ‘Comalies’ was a carefully crafted amalgam of prog and metal, menacing goth, evocative vocals and mesmerising ambience. Having a hauntingly gorgeous singer like Scabbia didn’t do them any harm either.”
