Lacuna Coil in Metal Hammer’s ’20 Albums You Must Own in 2005′

Lacuna Coil are included in Metal HammerÕs ÔThe 20 Albums You Must Hear In 2005Õ article in the January 2005 (#135) issue. The metal magazine has this to say about the upcoming album:

Rumoured Title: ÔEvanescence, Who They?Õ
Label: Century Media
ETA: June
Website: www.lacunacoil.it
In the two years or more since the last Lacuna Coil album, ÔComaliesÕ, was released, Evanescence have come from nowhere to achieve mega status, leaving Cristina Scabbia being labelled by the ignorant as an Amy Lee copyist. Now, with a real international momentum, itÕs time for Lacuna Coil to strike with a Euro-goth album thatÕs heavy yet melodic. Move over NightwishÉ

Metal Hammer magazine is on sale now.

Lacuna Coil’s Message to Dimebag Darrell

Lacuna Coil have posted the following message on their Offical Site.

“Dimebag Darrell 20/8/66 – 08/12/04

You’ve been and you’ll always be an inspiration for all of us. Your music created a lot of our dreams. We are close to your family and to all the enormous amount of people who loved you and respected you in these years. Your memory will never die. Rest in peace, brother.

Lacuna Coil”

The loss of Dimebag Darrell, of Damageplan and formerly Pantera, has shocked the metal community, and he will be sorely missed by everyone.
Emptyspiral.net would like to express our sympathy to his family and friends at this time.
