Lacuna Coil’s Cristina Scabbia is one of the number of female artists that appear in Marta Samitowska’s book “Power and Majesty: Females in Metal”.
Other artists include Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Floor Jansen (After Forever), Simone Simons (Epica), Sarah Jezebel Deva, Liv Kristine Espenaes (ex-Theatre Of Tragedy / Leaves’ Eyes), Nienke de Jong (Autumn), Sharon den Adel (Wthin Temptaion), and the book contains “68 pages, divided into 4 chapters, where the singers tell us about their beginnings, their love for metal and music in general, and share their opinions about singing, songwriting and image.”
