The highly acclaimed new LACUNA COIL album, Karmacode, had a phenomenal first week at retail moving an impressive 34,000 units via Nielsen SoundScan, securing the #28 spot on the Billboard Top 200 charts. It also debuted at #5 on the Hard Music chart just behind such acclaimed artists as Nickleback and Rob Zombie. Critics have hailed the much-anticipated release as the groupÕs most cohesive and all encompassing offering yet, led by the strength of its hit single ÒOur Truth,Ó which is currently a Top 40 single on the U.S. Active Rock charts.
The band will also be debuting on US television tonight as the featured artist on Jimmy Kimmel Live, performing on the showÕs outdoor stage in front of hundreds of fans. Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 12:05AM on the ABC network, so be sure to tune in to witness LACUNA COILÕs first live U.S. television performance.
